近40年來(lái)，胰腺移植在基礎(chǔ)和臨床研究方面都獲得了令人振奮的長(zhǎng)足進(jìn)步。據(jù)國(guó)際胰腺移植登記中心（IPTR）記錄，全球已實(shí)施了18 900余例胰腺移植（截至2002年10月），其中絕大多數(shù)在美國(guó)（近14 000例），約90%為胰腎聯(lián)合移植（SPK）。迄今為止，SPK被公認(rèn)是治療糖尿病合并腎功能衰竭的最有效的方法。據(jù)報(bào)道，胰腺移植受體1年生存率超過(guò)95%，3年生存率接近90%； 移植胰腺有功能（患者不依賴胰島素）者的1年和3年生存率分別為83%和77%。
