2006 年美國(guó)胸科醫(yī)師學(xué)會(huì)( ACCP) 咳嗽指南委員會(huì)修訂的第二版美國(guó)咳嗽診治指南建議用上氣道咳嗽綜合征( upper airway cough syndrome, UACS) 替代鼻后滴流綜合征( post nasal drip syndrome, PNDS) [1] 。PNDS 最早由美國(guó)提出, 指鼻炎或鼻竇炎引起分泌物倒流鼻后和咽喉等部位, 導(dǎo)致以咳嗽為主要表現(xiàn)的綜合征[2] 。歐美國(guó)家和國(guó)內(nèi)研究表明, UACS 或PNDS 是慢性咳嗽的重要原因, 國(guó)內(nèi)的數(shù)據(jù)為14% ～26% [3-6] ?？傮w而言, 歐美國(guó)家PNDS 的患病率更高,占慢性咳嗽病因的12% ～41% [7-9] 。
