Professor Dong Zhou 

Director of Neurology Department, West China Hospital, Sichuan University. 

Prof. Zhou obtained his M.D. degree from University Erlangen-Nurnberg. His specialty and research interest is neurological disorders, especially of epilepsy. He has been working as a consultant neurologist and epileptologist for over 30 years in West China Hospital. Prof. Zhou is currently the co-chairman of Medical Therapeutics Commission, International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) and the vice-chairman of China Association Against Epilepsy (CAAE). He also serves as the vice-director member of the Branch association of Neurology, Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA) and the chairman of Group of Epilepsy and EEG, Branch association of Neurology, Chinese Society of Medical Association (CMA). Prof. Zhou has presided and participated in eight research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 150 research articles in international journals including Epilepsia and Neurology.
